Role & Strategy[]
- Princess Pride is a defensive fighter with a Signature Ability that grants her REGEN for every TEAR spawned. Furthermore, detonating these TEARS will immediately recover HEALTH, making her a tanky defender that can continually heal and stall for time.
- Given the unpredictable behavior of the AI, when using Princess Pride for defense it is highly recommended to equip moves that can easily spawn TEARS such as NAPALM TOSS and NAPALM SHOWER which would also increase her damage output from her Marquee Ability. Furthermore, since the AI uses special moves often, NAPALM TRIGGER can also be useful to detonate TEARS without relying on a charge attack.
- Princess Pride can also be used offensively as a fighter with regenerative capabilities. Although she has a low base ATK stat, Parasoul's offensive capabilities revolving around critical hits enables her to deal decent amount of damage.
- The condition to activate Princess Pride's abilities are exactly the same as Primed, just with different BUFFS and effects. Thus, play Princess Pride the same way as Primed to capitalize on her abilities well.
- When used offensively, follow the same tips on Marquee Ability and stat investment as written in Primed.
- Marquee Ability: None of Parasoul's Marquee Abilities are defensive but CRITICAL THINKING stands out more as it provides increased damage output with the least amount of investment, enabling Princess Pride to deal some damage when punishing opponents without any investment in Crit Rate or Crit Damage.
- Stat Investment: It is important to invest in defensive stats such as HP, Defense and Meter Gain. These stats will increase her longevity in the fight while charging blockbusters quicker for an unblockable Tier 3 blockbuster.
Rift Battles[]
- Princess Pride can be an effective defender to stall for time with the Final Fight or Last Word catalyst. Her constant regenerative ability on top of FINAL STANDS from these catalysts can make her annoying to deal with.
- Princess Pride can be a useful offensive fighter to use to acquire the maximum amount of points in health for the Rift score as she has an easy access to REGEN. However, Princess Pride has below average ATK stat and while her Marquee Ability may help boost her damage, it may not be enough against defenders in triple nodes that has access to an increase HP bonus.
